last night when i went to bed, and tonight when i tried to lay down to sleep i kept getting flashbacks to my car spinning out of control and hitting that brick mailbox. i thought that i was blacked out when it happened but apparently i wasn't, or my body just remembers it better than my brain. i can't see anything from it, but i can still feel it

I am sure you are tired of hearing it, but I am really glad you are ok. I have been in a couple of little accidents and they were terrifying. It was horrible having to relive hitting the person in front of me EVERY TIME I started to slow down to stop... So, I get what you are going through, though on a far smaller scale.

I saw your prom pics. You were beautiful, which comes as no surprise. Hope the rest of your summer goes well! Savor it... Summer after high school and before college is one of, if not THE best!
