in my purse right now there is a pack of tissues that has not been used yet...but if i was in japan my friend would be using up all my packs since it was giving out and usually i have the most of them lol. I usually dont carry them but if out of country prob will have that with me at all times!
I rarely use my pocket tissue, but I always have it with me because you never know when you need to wipe something or have a makeshift napkin. It's nice that they have them for free in Japan so you don't have to buy them. They're actually not that cheap to buy here! lol
Mmmm...never thought about that before. Watch, I'm going to be peeking over people and trying to look into their bags to see what's inside now D:
I've never carried tissue in my bag, but I swear my sister has enough in her purse to last a lifetimex2. I prefer to stuff my purse with everything else, there's just no room for tissues
Hahaha. I look in people's purses when I'm on the subway. What else is there to look at? I also read other people's newspapers when they hold them up at the right height...
I bought pocket tissue a bit ago. I have no idea what happened to it...
That said, I keep a bottle of lotion everywhere. One at my desk at work, one in my purse, and one in the bathroom. Plus six more in the medicine cabinet. I used to have a chapstick in my purse, but then I realized that I spend more time at work and at home (where I have more chapstick) than I do in transit, so I never replaced the one I lost in my purse.
That said, I have had all of your options in my purse at one time or another.
Oh for free? I think I remember reading that they pass them out as promotion? I wish they would do that here, while I wouldn't say tissues are expensive, they're not cheap either. :D
Yup! They're promotional little things. All of them will have a little flier/leaflet of some kind on one side, but they're convenient so everyone always takes them. Another thing that people often take is the tiny uchiwa/fans people pass out in summer. Otherwise, no one likes to take promotional handouts. ;)
But... then it's all linty? I stuff tissue in my pockets only when I have a cold/flu and know I will blow (bad pun unintended)through the pocket packs too quickly.

I have kind of always had sinusitis, so my nose is often jacked up, so i just took to stuffing a bunch of tissue in my pockets (which i try to keep as lint free as possible) , as buying the pocket packs and using them gets pricey after a while.
