Went to a strawberry festival today. It wasn't that hot and I put on sunscreen but I still managed to get burned. :(

I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't more strawberry inspired food, but I did try strawberry tamales and pizza. I didn't hate them.

Back from celebrating my friend's big 3-0 in Vegas. I had a blast. Mostly because I didn't get wasted (I was able to sustain a nice buzz through the entire time but not actually step over the line into feeling sick), saw some AWESOME shows, and only lost $10 total to the slots.

Thank you flist for confirming that I am indeed a bit of a douchebag. In all seriousness though, I'm glad there are honest, do-the-right-thing folk out there to counter the negative effects of jerks like me.

I completely blame lovespiral for this. Clicking on all those DSW links has made me want to buy shoes like burning.
