Blair, for years I have felt the same way...I was a sophmore in college before I ever finished highschool, I graduated #7 in my class with a 97.7 and I made way way above average on my SAT and I got a "is that the best you can do?" The thing is: your parents have come to expect so much from you. As much as anyone tells you to not worry about it, it does hurt. Secretly, they are very proud of you and they talk wonderfully about you to others - they just do not let you know it. It might go to your head ;). I am proud of you. So GREAT JOB BLAIR!! WAY TO GO!! YOU ARE AMAZING!!

My parents are the saaame waaaay. It's so incredibly frustrating. I hate it. *sighs* But it'll be okay. *sends lots of good vibes* Just keep doing your best, and if they don't like that, then that's their problem. As long as you know you're doing the best you can do, then that's all anyone can expect of you. :)

Hang in there. Remember, Santa will give you presents just because you have been nice, and your sisters will love you because you have pretty hair they can play with in Church, and Jesus will love you because you....oh, wait, that's right, He loves you unconditionally.
I think tu parents do their best to emulate Him in this, but is hard for humans to love at all, and I think nearly impossible to love well or wisely. But despite this, punkin must know that her worth isn't in anything she could do or achieve for any reason. And Steph loves her the best she knows how. Hug to the punkin.
