[ NINTEEN ] I NEED TO D/C MYSELF, STAT.

I apologize for not being around lately. Ichigo, I know you've missed me. However, it's hard to have anything resembling a real life when I'm at the hospital eighty-five hours per week. It is IMPOSSIBLE to find time to study. I hate feeling as if I'm behind.

Also, I'm beginning to think that the clerkship director is out to get me. For ( Read more... )

Eighty five hours? I don't think that can possibly be legal.

Private to Sakura:

Do you think you might be able to tell me if itchy arms are symptomatic of some stress related affliction? Along with shivers, and cold sweats.

Students, apparently, are not governed by any of those silly "labor laws" that are applicable to employees. Go figure.

[Private to Rukia]

Rash, shivers and cold sweats are not indicative of stress. You more than likely have an infection and you need a doctor. Would you like a referral? My attending runs an outpatient clinic and he's an excellent internist.

Re: cleaning fluid. As long as you haven't ingested it, it probably won't kill you.

And I had thought studying was intended to challenge the intellect, not endurance.

Private to Sakura:

Oh, it isn't me, I barely know him, but I didn't think it sounded quite right. Itchy arms... I thought I read that somewhere, about addicts in withdrawl.

Cleaning fluid wise, that is most reassuring.

Surprising, isn't it? I don't mind so much, because the more I expand my fund of knowledge, the more the team benefits, but I just wish I had more time for things.

[Private to Rukia]

I would need more information to attempt an accurate differential. What other symptoms have you noticed? When did they start? Are they constant? What substance do you suspect is being abused?

Rukia, don't worry. If you haven't died yet, chances are, you're not going to. You should be more optimistic.
