It is so hard finding the right balance of standing up for yourself and being nice. Too nice, you get walked all over. Go in the opposite direction, and it makes you a 'bitch.'

"Academia = intellegence" is a false assumption if anyone assumes that, that is. I know some people who are brilliant academically, but are some of the dumbest people I know due to their lack of common sense. Just how I classify things.

I mean, a girl was studying Biology and didn't know that a penis wasn't constantly erect. She thought the erect penis was a normal penis. I had to explain to her how penises work, a biology student. -_- I said, "Did you ever wonder why male statues had such small penises?" Ha ha, she thought they were just deformed. My friends were trying hard (and failing) to not laugh as I was explaining how a penis works to her, I didn't laugh 'cause I'm sure there's something "simple" that I don't know yet! But I found it weird evenso.

I mean Academia is equivalent to critical thinking and contextualization but with all the crap we have to keep in our brains the common sense part is pushed to the back of the attic to make room for things more immediate like tests and exams lol Alot of people have no clue about reproductive organs....especially their own lol
