How come everyone gives up swearing for Lent?

I bet that no matter what you do or don't do to your hair, it will automatically look better than mine. But that's ok cause I don't look in mirrors anymore.

i gave up swearing for lent because it's a bad habit and it makes me sound stupid, and i am not stupid. i have such a wide vocabulary in my everyday dialect that i don't need to dumb down my language for everyone else to understand me. that's why. it's hard.

that's nice what you said about my hair, even though it's wrong. i do look in mirrors, and i am not taken aback. maybe i'll give up mirrors for lent. hmmm....
