I just saw something on Twitter suggesting that LJ might be going down soon due to the conflict in you-know-where.
This is not at all how I pictured the end of LJ. It was the last thing on my mind when the news broke but I'm glad someone mentioned it. In case this is truly the end of the archive I've kept for 20(!) years, I'm using the backup ( Read more... ) -

hate-teen years
Bruh. The year 2020 is upon us soon. I can't believe it's been almost 20 years since Y2K. The very phrase "the year 2020"still sounds so far flung into the future and it is literally a few months away. Last time I wrote in LJ, I had a different job and it was making me literally sick and actually miserable. Today I update from my new job, about a month in, and it's all I could have asked for as far as a change.
