So...has anyone noticed how lj_spotlight has been causing more harm than good? I usually like taking a look at what's shown there in the livejournal home page because some of the comms like thrifthorror and color-theory are really awesome and deserve to be shown off.

4,000? That's insane. How did they even do that? o.O

There's been a bit of insanity in the RP scene because of lj_spotlight, too. Apparently they featured one of the dressing rooms (sixwordstories) and didn't make mention of the fact that it was an RP comm, so it was flooded with people posting to it with personal journals and getting confused when RPers replied back. :/

And...wow. I knew sixwordstories sounded familiar when I first saw it. After taking a look at it, yeah. Wow, makes me wonder if the guy/girl posting the entries actually goes through those communities now.
