Look at the title of the site. That's an evangelical site. As a Religion major, I would just say that you should take anything not specifically religious that the evangelical church says with a large grain of salt.
I can tell you that it is infact possible to pursue the idea of evolution and be a christian at the same time. A great many people follow the idea, as seven day creation just doesn't work out that well in their minds.
That's a little scary. Isn't it a pretty obvious problem when you have to round up small children to a special conference to "teach" them something? Eew.
Yeah.. an uncle of mine who is a little more hard-core conservative than we are gave me a book called "The Great Lie: EVOLUTION." I guess it wouldn't be a BAD book if the guy wasn't such a douche in his writing. Ack.

what's funny is that my catholic high school taught me about evolution and said it was ok! yay evolution!
