Ah it's so much nicer today~ It's like a breath of fresh air. The breeze is so nice~~
The decline in tourists is also nice. It seems the police force is much less on-edge now that they're leaving. I do appreciate the money they bring into the city, but many of the people who come are too crude.
I think things are looking up! -

Really now, was it absolutely needed to search through my purse just because I commented on the upped police presence? I don't believe I posed any sort of threat with my lipstick and pocketbook!
This city drives me mad sometimes. Even London was more sensible and that's certainly saying something.
September could not come along faster. -

It simply is too hot outside, I feel. I insist every summer that we install an air conditioning system but the foolish installers always say the building simply isn't suited for it. I haven't the faintest idea what they mean by that as we already have ducts for the heating, and shouldn't the same ducts be used ( Read more... )
