The Mawsami Cave(s) looks so eerie and yet so inviting. Love the shot. So much prettiness and God, am I J of your travels.

Yes, it was rather eerie, and I don't care much for caves myself. But turned out to be excelent fun:)

Don't be J, don't be J... it is but once in a very blue moon that i get to go to fun places;o)

how cool da ! how long does it take to go here from calcutta, I presume you went to cal on work ?

Not many go to the north east actually. A pal of mine recently went to sikkim/bhutan on road and had such a good time

It was great fun!:) I actually went to Cal, Guwahati and Shillong on work on three separate trips:o, so funner still, since I didn't have to pay for any of them:))

Went through Guwahati, as ex-Cal would take ages. It's 3 - 3.5 hours by road from Guw.

I freak majorly on mountains so the N-e has always been a fav spot. I think they're getting quite a few toursist now. I would just love to do Arunachal and Bhutan too, but it's bound to be expensive I think:( your friend must have had loads of fun... a road trip around there would be great!

on work ! how cool. Arent you in HR ??

Bhutan is gorgeous and yes expensive for sure, since you have to book your travels through a tour guide in advance and show your iternary. I think my friend managed to have a basic plan and then moved on his own, need to ask him the details again

Yikes...no, though you're just an alphabet away. I'm in market research - MR:)

I've always found the idea of Bhutan reasonable exotic. Didn't they not have TV until recently?:)
