I highly recommend the magazine put out by MaryJanesFarm. I'm tellin' ya, the most recent edition made me weep; I loved it that much.

I really love the whole idea behind this magazine, but I feel like its one big ad for her product. Like, every single recipe calls for her bread mix, or whatever. That irritates me. But the phots are AWESOME and I want to go stay at her little farm!! Did you see the amazing tents you can rent?!!?!?

No! I had no idea you could rent a tent there. I would so love to do that.

Yeah, they are rather promotional of her products, moreso now than in the beginning. In the beginning, she had no products to promote. I still love the magazine. This issue has an article on an elderly woman who makes wool rugs from scraps she cuts from thrift store finds. The woman sounds like a real hoot. And there's an article about a couple who are WALKING across the country. I dunno, I just love the things she (or her staff) find to write about (and photograph).

here are the tents! I would love to do a retreat there, for sure! Imagine a spinning thing there? That would be fun.

I will have to check out those articles, though, the next time I'm in Borders. Walking!! I love that.

I was given an issue and couldn't figure out what was going on, since it's just a giant ad. The one I got had tons of recipes, which, even though they called for her baking mix, gave me ideas, anyway. I don't think I'd actually pay for it, though, just like I don't see the point of paying for a tshirt with NIKE written in giant letters on the front.

dude! thanks! i didn't even know they made a magazine!!!

i had a dream that I was reading an LJ entry by you where you said you were typing outside on the lawn, while waiting for someone. (I think it was the neighbor man, but I'm not sure.) and then you posted some grandchild pictures.

oh, what exciting dreams I have.

I have to post a picture for you of SQUASH in his post-operative big blue collar.

A magazine, and she's published a big, beefy and beautiful book.

That is the dullest dream I've heard of in quite some time.

How about I come see Squash in person so I can pick up some artsy books! :)
