I got my new studio apartment today. Love it, love it, love it.

HAPPY DAYS
- I got an email from a professor at the Arizona State Museum (where I did my internship with giving museum tours to school kids) and a spot opened up in the very-difficult-to-get-into Human Osteology class. YAAAAAY.
- I don't have to work tonight like I was scheduled to because it's so slow. YAAY.
- I have the entire evening off to read. YAY.

Writer's Block: Heavenly Bodies
Pluto. Or, most likely, Bob.
One of my absolute favorite movies as a kid was Titan A.E. (yes, I was a future nerd in the making). At the end of the movie, when new earth is created, they named the new Earth 'Bob.' Give the planet some character. I think Bob would kick some ass if he had a bunch of humans screwing him up. -
Alive with the beating of a young heart
So, while everyone else is updating, and remarking upon long absences of updates, I decided to check and see when my last actual update was. Apparently I haven't written an update since the very beginning of January. So let's cut to the chase and get to the update.

While I was at my mom's house for the 26th through the 30th, my mom went to the vet to get Rascal's (her big, almost-grown kitty) claws clipped, and she came home with two cats. Rascal, and now Lily. She looks like this:

An elderly man, in the final days of his life, is lying in bed alone. He awakens to see a large group of people clustered around his bed. Their faces are loving, but sad. Confused, the old man smiles weakly and whispers, "You must be my childhood friends come to say good-bye. I am so grateful."

Out of the Teenage Years and Beyond...
So. I'm officially twenty, and no longer a teenager. I feel like I can't be a kid any more either. I've been in college for almost two and a half years now, living on my own for that same amount of time, supporting myself, living the dream, etc. I guess somewhere along the way I became an adult.
