I'm getting a tubal ligation next month and I'm a bit freaked out. Sounds like I was told to expect similiar stuff... they also fill my abdomen with gas and it can affect my shoulders and make them sore. Sounds like my incisions will be smaller, though.
I'm glad everything went well! I'm so afraid that I'll be one of those folks who is "awake" while under the anesthesia and feel everthing, but be unable to move! Ack.
Wow, sounds like you did great - I'm glad it went smoothly and glad it's over!
I forgot to tell you about the no-doodying thing. It's brutal. :(
I haven't had any surgeries where they had to put air in me, but when my boss got her tubes tied, she had that done, and she also said the gas pressure was the worst part. For some reason all the air settled in her shoulder and it was apparently extremely painful.

Hope you heal up well!

After the surgery, get up and walk around every hour if you can. It really works the gas through your system :3
