Just want to let anyone out there who may be worrying know that me and mine are all safe after the Minneapolis bridge collapse. It's really horrible, of course, and if I think about it too much I just shut down.

This killed me:
Woman on Street: You see this bridge overhead? It's called a skyway. We have an entire indoor world where you never have to go outside.

Hero Rats
This is awesome. Gambian pouched rats are helping find landmines in Africa. The gent running the program is so cool, fond of rats, and treats them very well. I'm normally not so fond of exploiting animals for human purposes, but I feel these ratties aren't in great amounts of danger (light enough to not set off the mines) and are doing a *world ( Read more... )
