I might have gestational diabetes. I just spent hours at the hospital for my second glucose tolerance test. I had to fast for 14 hours beforehand. They checked my blood when I got there and had me drink this disgusting, sugary drink. Then they take blood every hour for three hours afterwards. I had quite the scare a couple nights ago. I had a horrible case of the flu and I was doubled over in pain, puking my guts up. This lasted for about six hours. Why can't I keep friends? My friend Vicki, who I considered my best friend for while, moved to Louisville at the beginning of August. We promised we'd keep in touch, but neither of us have made much of an effort the past couple of months to keep in touch. It's just as much my fault as it is hers. I feel like I'm going to be one of those moms who don't name her baby until they're out of the womb for like 3 days. I can't find a single name that I like enough to feel that it's "good enough." You know what I mean? This name is going to be stuck with him/her for life, and I can't screw it up!

So, there was a bad storm here the other day while I was working. It happened in the morning while it was still pretty dark outside--and the power went out.

I'm such a fuckass. I deleted everything I didn't "need" off of my computer to gain more room for pictures. This included Sims 2, Sims 3, and all expansion packs. It wasn't until later that I did the smart thing and bought an external hard drive. Now that I'm not doing photography "professionally" or taking pictures in RAW format, I just ( Read more... )
