my uncle pulled me aside and gave me 200bucks (this money ontop of a previous graduation gift).  "College, next to family are the most important things in your life."  when i got in the car i cried.  he is the most loyal and honorable man i have ever known; he believes in me.  and recently i have been so fucking selfish and undeserving of it.

Past few weeks have been stressful- and there is still so much needed to be done. Stone Harbor wasn't quite the same with Grandpa sick.  He's in the hospital now.

I've been at my grandfather's.  The new drug he's taking has morphine in it and he took two too many and fell twice Sunday.  So since Sunday, my mom and I have been sleeping over.  He's a lot better now after dialaysis.

at night, i lie awake, worrying about the economy

I think my penpal wants to marry me for US citizenship.  In this last letter, he got all lovey-dovey on me.  He is ten years older than me and has not written for months until now that I'm 18.  I did value our words but I've decided not to write back

We first heard of the London attacks via my brother's girlfriend in tears.  Matt's alrite.  he was in class at the time, but the confusion felt extensible.  He'll continue with plans and go to Dublin for the weekend, and then there'll be another week of London.
