Our first big task outside was to tear down the old green shed the previous owners had. It was falling down, leaked, and we think some sort of animal was living in it. So, we got out our saws-all and had at it.

This was a good, but busy week for me at school. MP was sick on Tuesday, so I got to teach grade 11. It was a good experience, despite only having about 3 minutes to prepare for teaching logic. So, last weekend I ventured into a foreign country. Now, you may say that I have been in a foreign country for the last 2 months. But I don't really consider Germany foreign. Not anymore, at any rate. Here, I have a basic understanding of customs, rules, culture, food, and, especially, language. This weekend I traveled to Strasbourg, France. ( Read more... )
