Whilst cleaning the flat today I found some earrings tossed in the back of my knickers drawer that I'd forgot about completely. It occurred to me that diamonds don't half sparkle the way they ought when no-one's about to appreciate them

Not usually.

Not that I have any idea where one should usually keep diamonds.

I thought I'd be drinking all the time when I started working at the Banshee, but it's had the reverse effect, really. So I haven't touched a drop either. Which, for a Saturday night, is a bit off.

I didn't really think about it, I just wanted them somewhere that wasn't out and visible.

It's not like me. New leaf, perhaps.

Well, it seems if you had new underpants the diamonds might sparkle the way they used to.

But, it wasn't the underpants detracting from their lustre! However, if you are insisting I am in no position to refuse.
