What a nice weekend I've had with my Golden Boy.  We woke up Saturday and went down to the market to pick up our CSA share, then stopped by the wine store for a bottle of St. James Winery Velvet White. Meris - I like different-sounding names; girls' names that don't end in -a are a good way to achieve this.
May - I have a great-aunt May; I like this spelling better than Mae, although it tends to make the full name sound like the beginning of a question.

As an unabashed onomastician ( or something), I keep an ongoing list of possible future baby names.  Granted, some of them are pretty out there.  Here's the boys' list:

Milo - a little animalistic; my grandma has a dog named Milo, and he's the ugliest bastard of a mutt I've ever seen.  I don't like the full Miles nearly as much.

How is that that early mornings on the way to the airport always smell different than early mornings any other time?

I'm very sleepy.  Boycat was a little jerk all night.  He dragged in feather toys, toilet paper tubes, and several pieces of plastic cutlery.  Grrr.
