I'm the "third wheel" of binary gender.

I hate the way I feel so out of place around a bunch of girls talking about girly things. I can't talk about "oh I really need to shave... my hair is getting so long" because I don't shave. I can't talk about plucking my eyebrows because I've stopped shaping them altogether. I just sit there and listen for the most part... wishing we were ( Read more... )

Well, I avoid using public restrooms. Unless it is a rest area that no one is at. Because I hate having people stare at me like I am in the wrong bathroom. One time I was at the store, using the bathroom. And I came out, and some old lady was in her wheelchair looking at me in disgust. Then she went and told one of the workers, and they approached me and I simply said you are mistaken. And of course they are all embarrassed.
And plenty of other times this has happened, So I decided to save myself the hassle, and the embarrassment of others. And not go into the womans bathroom.

Anyways, I wanted to comment on your picture also. I think your cute either way. :) I have small breasts and the rest of my family have large ones and make fun of me. So sometimes I wish I was a little bigger and more noticeable. Instead of flat... lmao

A piece of my mind for you... ya_ya_09 July 6 2004, 21:37:52 UTC
I can't say I have any experiences to compare yours to, or say "I know what you're going through" but I will say I hope you do what makes YOU comfortable and tell the world to go to hell for treating you like you are inferior or 'creepy' as you said. The more I learn, the more stories I hear from my friends the more I can't stand people that judge others because they are different, and the more I want to go up to them and ask how they can be so close-minded and hateful.
I've learned that being open-minded is one of the greatest gifts in the world, you don't limit yourself, you don't hold back, you can live life and get so much more out of it than keeping hate or prejudice within yourself because it just eats you up inside.
Eventually maybe the so-called 'normal' people in the world will get over themselves and realize the error of their ways. Until then, focus on the things that make you happy, it's tough sometimes but, it's what really matters.

bathrooms, dont even get me started on the whole bathroom issue, I just dont go the bathroom in public anymore, at least I try not to. But I understand where you are coming from I cant even go into the woman's room without being stared at or even people saying rude and ignorant things to me.

But on a good note, I love that picture of you. You look great. And I like that hat, my favorite color is orange.
