quickie

Jan 23, 2010 11:24

worked 9 shifts in the past 5 days, so not a lot of time online. another one tonight, too, so i'm still catching up on sleep, doing laundry, cleaning, etc.

still, had to share my morning's discovery: found a copy of "going rogue" on my parents' side table. they never cease to find new ways to disappoint me. ugh.

I had to look up what Going Rogue was, and I am indeed disappointed.

Also, when I opened up my friends page, it seems I had been signed out of LJ so your post showed up as a link saying "You are about to view content that may be inappropriate for minors". (At some point I must have put down blanket approval for your posts when signed in, because I usually never see that message.)

Anyway, pair that message with the title of your entry and be amused.

hah. quickies can indeed be inappropriate for minors. then again, "going rogue" is inappropriate for anyone!

also, my cat just scratched the fuck out of my fingertip. blood galore. so much for my white load of laundry. we'll see if i manage a night of rock climbing tomorrow...

As much as it'd be more fun if they screened for content, the warning comes up whenever you're not logged in for a lot of people. I think it's a general default setting for anyone over 21 (when I log on from my laptop, your darling wife's page gives me the same warning).

You betcha! *vomit*

(then again, my parents went to see Avatar yesterday, despite knowing about the problematic plot. I did not withhold my opinions on racist and sexist wish-fulfillment, something I am pretty sure my mom did not appreciate. Whatevs, my conscience is clear.)

Yeach. Though I did have to think about it for a few minutes before I realized what "going rogue" was. I don't suppose it could possibly be a 'know thy enemy' sort of thing (like when I read Rush Limbaugh's first book on a dare), eh?

ps - ouch on the fingers! I hope that doesn't make your next few shifts miserable while they heal.
