I have hit the dreaded "oh-no-how-do-I-write-the-sentiment-behind-the-pithy-quote-from-one-of-the-characters" block. What am I talking about, you ask? I'm writing my challenge 21 story, and one of the characters has just uttered the tag line that is the title of my story. Explaining pithy comments just wrecks them. Let your character shrug/grin and say "nothing" or "think about it" and then do something else (like hug or feed or whatever) the object of the pithiness to show what they meant.

I know none of you have WIP's on your hard drive that you weren't sure what to do with next, or wrote yourself into a corner, etc.

Oh that happens to me too. I have the same situation in my new story (not for challenge 21, but "Master in training" which is up unbetaed with two chapters). Unfortunately I don¨t have a "remedy" for these situations.
