Sigurd sees a lot of potential in Roy if he would just grow up. He is a bit more forgiving of him, though due to his relative age. Roy also reminds him a LOT of how Hervey was when he and Sigurd first met, which is part of the reason why for all the teasing Sigurd does to Roy, he genuinely likes the kid.
Sigurd thinks Roy should move on from the petty stuff into being a pirate. He would be more than willing to help him learn his way around a boat. And by pirate, he means like Lady Kika's pirates, not like the ones that apparently plague the seas in Roy's era.
Lyon's attitude and loyalty to her friends is admirable and Sigurd is amazed to see such dedication in the youth of what is, to him, the future. He is also thankful that a near lifetime of military service in any form or fashion (he doesn't know it's a near lifetime) didn't turn Lyon into a boring old stiff like him. Sigurd was involved in a lot of underhand things while serving in the Middleport Navy, and it is refreshing to see honor in any military as opposed to the corruption he saw in any military outside of Obel.
Lyon's dedication to her friends is reflective of Sigurd's own dedication, and in that he respects her far more than just about anyone else he had met her age outside of Lucas and his comrades.
Geddoe is....Geddoe is a reflection of what could possibly be Sigurd's own reincarnation (not likely, but he's been shocked before). Geddoe is the sort of man Sigurd only wishes he could be, and has taken a strong liking to him. And, like Sigurd's other closest friend, he became close to Geddoe AFTER trying to kill him.
Sigurd, however, feels a bit differently for Geddoe than he does for Hervey and he can't quite place what it is. It's similar to how he feels about Bernadette, but that confuses him even further. He knows he won't act on it, though...at least not while their friendship is how it is.
Even though they've only recently met, Sigurd has taken a strong liking to Lym. Her attitude and mannerisms brings out his inner softy, and she reminds him a lot of Cecile, and even more so of Lucas's old pack of fangirls (Rita, Noah, and Rene). But something about Lym is different from all of them (Maybe it's the fact that Sigurd is blissfully unaware of what Lym's dreamy looks and swooning mean).
Sigurd wants to get to know Lym better, and possibly become a bit of a mentor to her like the knights had been in the past. He may teach her knife throwing as well.
