1. I just took at least a four hour nap. So if anyone wants to party at 2am, I am down. Because I will probably still be awake then. Luckily, today is my Friday, so I don't have to work tomorrow morning, so staying up late is not a problem

Exercise has never been all that exciting for me, what has helped was having a social connection--walking and talking. From that, I have branched into other exercise, like now I've been using the weight machines at the Y for 6-7 months (except for the hiatus while Pop and I were in England), and it has been re-enforced a little because I sometimes run into walking companions who also lift weights. Plus, the walking buddies who are also Y instructors actively encourage me to add exercises to my routine--like the weight training. So, maybe a social component would help you enjoy exercising a little more and keep you coming back?
