Just rode back from practice... rough because I've been off of the bike for about five days, also rough because the new freewheel is not getting along with the old chain, so the only gears I had consistently available to me were the highest ( Read more... )

realistically, it would just involve booking a wes venue for a specific date. Sounds easy, but it can get complicated. Also might involve tracking down a drum kit and/or a bass amp we could use while there.

practice was really good. would love some more time not in the evening to do more recording - hence saturday, 10:30 AM! whoo!

seriously about the chain. it's not 1/8", so it's 3/32nd"... which means it's appropriate for the 7speed cluster you've got. i don't know what the problem is, but don't jump to conclusions. however, try that new one out, and see what it does. i could be wrong.

did you do your research on british time trialing in the 1950s yet?

true story. alas. hey, what's going on up there in boston?

but yeah. wesleyan show never came through and we didn't want to put in 7 hours of travel for an afternoon show. 'specially since we'd need to return on saturday night.

oh you know... my life is chaos. but that's nothing new. :) it's just particularly full of chaos at the moment! :)

in fact, i'm in way over my head, but it's all getting itself sorted out, eventually. i just gotta trust in mystical forces i don't even understand anymore ... that, and a couple lawyers i don't really know.

what's going on down there?
