Amen sistah. I agree, I think you do you harbor love for Jonathan in some way. And all of us have the problem of not being able to be with them. BUt with you and Jonathan,it's tangible. I don't think the saying his girlfriend's name has any real signifigance. I accidently call people Beau all the time. Especially if someone does something really quickly (like poke me with a stick) and I have to reflexively respond immediately and I yell at them like "BEAU STOP IT" but really it is like, my roomate or something. It is just that I am so used to yelling at beau that it becomes second nature

Okay - perhaps I'm not-quite-qualified to give you advice on Johnathan, as I have never met him and only have really gotten to know you the semester...but here's my bit about whether you're in love or not.

I think that when you begin to put someone else's needs (and even their wants) in front of your own, and you don't really think about it, because you care about them so much that you will sacrifice what you want/need in order to make them happy - that's when you truly love them. Because once that happens, then you begin to think of them at odd times of day, care about them even when they don't care back, listen to them, and take care of them when they need you.

but see, i don't really know the difference between sacrifice and just giving in to stuff cuz..it's habit. but like, there are times when i'm really tired and would rather go home and take a nap but instead i go to some youth thing just because i know it would make him happy for me to be there. is that what you mean?
