BUT just now our boss (the good one Lyod, not Evil Peter) ( Read more... )

I can't say I'm happy to be at work. Actually mostly I'm hoping the power will go out and we'll get to home.
I came to work to find, 2 half eaten pies, donuts and pumpkins seeds. Hrrm.

The current count of treats is: 2 boxes assorted Krispy Kremes, 1 layer cake (chocolate W/ Rasberry filling), Candy corn (lots), 3 huge bowels of mixed Halloween candy, 2 plates of assorted homemade cookies, popcorn, carmel corn, and various chips... I think I may be ill very soon... *erp*

*is happy for you*

yeah, we've got a strict "no acknowledging of holidays" policy here. stupid dad. he feals that celebrating holidays at work makes people unproductive. you shouls have seen the office on Christmas eve last year. just imagine Scrooge's office if he'd had a few more employees. at least he does give enerybody a Christmas bonus though.

Does he give them lumps of coal? No holidays??? That is just wrong... Ick! What do you wanna do tonight? Maybe, I don't know, watch a freaking movie *snickers thinking about how many movies you rented* Any other ideas?

*goes into sugar coma*

as far as i know, it's not actually an official policy that my dad's put in place, 'cause we're not really a "policy" kind of office, but there's generally just no acknowledgement of holidays in the office. lind just went out and baught a costume on her lunch break, and was showing it to everybody, but it's not like anybody came to work in a costume. oh yeah. barb's wearing a stupid cat-sitting-pumpkin t-shirt, but i don't really think that counts.

he he. i'm all for the Sleapy Hollow. i love the cheezy, campy joy of that movie...

Yeah for too much candy!

So far my halloween blows. I have no plans, the one annual party I rely on doesn't seem to be happening this year. My boy has tentitively suggested we go out to a flick on Sunday.

You gonna post any pics on what your costume looks like?

When I USED to be employed, I would wear dangly skeleton earrings for Hallowe'en. Picture that with a hardhat, safety vest and you've got a pretty silly sight.

Mmmmmmm...Krispy Kremes.....agghhhhhhhh.......

You need to contact me, hon, as our guest spot *did* open up for the partay tonight! This is one highly fabulous party and I really hope you can come with us!

I'm just a few blocks away from the hospital right now, so email me quick, use sonata-at-eskimo-com, with the usual symbols, and we can arrange stuff!
