I have survived my first moderation and first assembley. Lots of support from collegues in relation to adam and moderation. the head didnt mention it but praised my assembley. i could be in the running for a raise too which is lovely!

what a mad and crazy term.

firstly, the school was under serious threat of being amalgamated with the Minster College. the reaction was sheer horror and dismay. luckily after much campaigning, we have with held the plans for another 4 years (by which time i will have moved!)

im very behind in my SAT and GCSE work - year 9 do not like shakespeare and year 11 generally dont like work at all!

i have a mere 5 days at welshpool to go.....and a total of 7 lessons due to cancellations/sports day etc so an easy going week. lots going on in the evenings though! fionas on mon night, in the middle of nowhere - where gwen lives actually. tues will see anna and i signing out for the afternoon for lunch, wed is a BBQ at kates - small village ( Read more... )

just a note to say......

i am employed!!

had an interview last week at queen elizabeth school in bromyard, and was offered the position.  i will be a full time english and drama teacher in september! yay!

and add has passed his driving test but is currently carless.

a good week, i'll say xxxxx
