samsung zv40, z140, or z500?? im swaying for the zv40, but undecided on colour. the pebls are beautiful but no picture on outside, no mobile tv, and odd buttons. trivial, but criteria none the less.

any suggestions??

Hmm, I ain't no phone specialist but I think one important thing is the buttons - odd/uncomfortable buttons can be a pain in the behind and make the phone annoying to use. Otherwise I'd probably just go with the prettiest one ... ;)

the most important thing about a phone is not to own one or be subjected to constant advertising. Therefore i suggest you get a landline and not tell your number to anyone and, if anyone asks, say you're a hermit with no phone. That way nuisance callers will never be a problem.
Either that or just get a big flashlight and you can signal to your friends in morse code. This also has the advantage that most people either don't know morse code, or, if they do, they're not the sort of people who know enough people to tell what you're talking about with your friends to.
