Is it me or does the phone part of the iPhone suck? Every time I talk to someone who is using one, their voice is accompanied by ear-piercing static. The name of the device is deceiving. It sounds like a phone that can also do some cool stuff. Really, it's this thing that does cool stuff and also happens to include a shitty phone.

Have you ever had a friend who has terrible choice in friends. Like you are almost embarrassed that this person likes you b/c the other people s/he likes are of such low quality?

No joke. I was watching the Tennessee-Oklahoma women's basketball game the other night and Anne Donovan, who was in the booth, told this story. She had played for Summit on the Olympic team and so Summit was not allowed to recruit her to Tennessee. I was hoping that the Ravens were a Black Swan this year--the first team to make it to a Superbowl with a rookie quarterback. But the Steelers finally exposed their limits.
