I loved this~ especially the last line :D
Lu han seems so vulnerable, like he'd break if anything happens to him. He has this melancholic aura around him, idk. And I actually have a similar image of him being like this Lu Han, he seems to be quiet but a really good observant, and because he has to deal with so much cultural changes he's like a lot more careful about his words and actions.
I found Kai the most interesting in this because we're all labelled, we want it or not, and once people label you as something you won't changed it easily, and because he has to deal with such important labels it's not strange he forgets to act his age.

I'm in love with your writing~ I hope you write more about them in the future :D

Yes, well, that's definitely the image SM is selling us in terms of Lu Han, but I definitely agree with your melancholic description. But I think, in general, all of the chinese boys have dealt with the cultural shift as well.

But yeah :/ Poor Kai doesn't deserve all this backlash. The boy works super hard and he was the most anticipated member slated for debut, even back in the M1/M2 days. *pets him*

Lu Han has a terrible desire to be someone special, even if it’s within a small realm. He has always been too thin, too quiet, too feminine.
Oh bb, it's okay. I love you ;___; I can totally see him being conflicted over his image. I wanna put him in a huge pocket and keep him safely away from haters/overly critical netizens.
