I took at look at your shots on photonutz' page and love your tattoo. any shots of the whole thing? i've always wanted a tattoo and never did it because there was nothing i liked long enough to have on my body permanently--except a raven. i love the poem, love poe and love ravens. one story, if you will indulge me, that i heard from a field biologist tells of a raven who was hit by a car. it was raining outside and her partner was standing next to her body sheltering her, in vain, from the falling rain with his wing.

Hmmm, I gotta assume you mean the "Nevermore" tattoo... Actually, the best way to see this tattoo is to go to your local wine shop and ask for a bottle of Ravenswood Zinfandel (I love their Zin). If you look at the label - you'll see my tattoo :) And I adore Edgar Allen Poe - very few things I've read of his I didn't like.
I have several tattoos - but I assume you were speaking of the one on my left calf.
Such a sad story about the Ravens. But they sure are tenacious creatures (part of the reason I love 'em).
