Trimming the financial fat

Jesse got the word yesterday that there's not a lot of work to be had in the coming months.  I knew, in my heart of hearts, that this was coming.  And yet, I didn't do a hell of a lot about it.

I mean, thank you.

I'm also terrible with money. I had like $30k in debt before I bought my house, and no student loans to make that look less terrible.

I've learned a lot. And Jesse's job keeps me on my toes -- it's all boom or bust. Too much bust, if you ask me.

I was thinking of Jesse for a basement re-model here, but of course I'm freaked out about spending any money right now!

So we're still thinking of him, but for later.
