I am completely and totally an afternoon/evening/night person. Sure, I go to bed by 10 or 11; but usually I stay up a bit more to watch t.v., read or troll message boards. Mornings suck for me. A lot. If I'm excited about something, morning is pretty cool but honestly I fucking hate it most of the time.

Yesterday I had my monthly salon appointment, which included the regular waxing. Which hurt like a motherfucker even though I had taken Ibuprofen beforehand. Anyway,I look great today. Painful but worth it. I look like a million bucks. Well, I did earlier, until the bags started under my eyes. I just get so tired still.

The Funeral
We left for Cleveland Thursday morning. The car we ending up renting, a teeny tiny bright yellow "economy" car made me giggle uncontrollably on and off for days. Too Much
There is so much going on all at once. I'm never good at change so it just makes it all the much more difficult for me to adjust. School started, my uncle is dying (and taking his time doing so) and it seems as if we are all up in the air. Especially me ( Read more... ) -

I had a nightmare about Nanny McFee (or McPhee. whatever - I am lazy and not looking it up) last night. I'm pretty sure it was brought on by all the ads that have been bombarding me from all angles. Anyway, Nanny M scares the piss out of me. Just sayin'. -

I totally splurged last night and bought not only a new purse, but new shoes as well. I really love them, though, so I might have to do some bill-juggling so we can go out tonight and I can wear them. I shall see. In fact, I'll go check right now.

There are days when I feel like I'm not needed - like I'm doing nothing to contribute to my family's financial well-being. Then I look at the way Dave loves to buy stuff and realize that I am needed. I'm needed to keep a tab on the budget and to keep him from living inside his head too much.

I always have tons of thoughts running through my head. Some are funny, some whimsical and quite a few are just sheer lunacy. A thousand times a day I think to myself "I need to remember this thought and write about it sometime". It just never gets done.
