The Earl Grey infused truffles with a dark chocolate shell were yummy. We're definitely gonna have to attempt that again. =)

observations

Tinkered with some interesting lighting combinations this weekend and got some decent results!

Sophie's first haircut
Sophie got her first haircut today. It was a disaster! She was
screaming bloody murder the whole time while Eda restrained her. The
barber did her best to trim Sophie's hair in short spurts but it
turned out a bit uneven by the time she gave up.
It's amazing how different she looks now. Not sure if I like it...

Poor baby
Sophie has some kinda allergic reaction or infection going on. Poor thing is covered in red spots all over her body. Figures that the two days that I need to drive her to day care she can't go (Eda's taking a certification class). It's a good thing my job has flexible work arrangements. I can just work from home instead.

bluebonnets!
I have nothing interesting to write about, so more photos of Sophie! We drove around aimlessly on 290 and Brenham this weekend looking for bluebonnet fields. We were a bit late to see it in full bloom, but got some nice photos anyways.
