The idea for these icons probably wouldn't have come to mind, if I hadn't been inspired by the art itself. There's not really much you can do with something that's already beautiful. I basically just played around with color and texture in the first set, and tried a "rain" effect in the second set which, as you can see, needs some work (lol). But ( Read more... )

Ok. My first attempt at colorizing and freehand. I followed a WONDERFUL tutorial by charliemc over at psp7_beginners . Although I have psp7, I used psp10, and the tutorial is VERY easily translatable. I'm still working on my freehand, but I see that the more you do it, the more trained your eye, and steady your hand, become. So, here's a flower or three especially for ( Read more... )

These were my VERY FIRST attempts at making icons, as you can see (lol). Basically, they're just Lil' Kim album covers that were resized and sharpened a bit.
