I've got 4 baby raccoons now! They are sooooo tiny that their eyes aren't even open yet! I'm actually a bit terrified because it's really hard to keep the smaller ones alive and you just never know.

I have to feed them 5 times a day so it's pretty time consuming which is why there aren't pics yet. HOWEVER, I found this pic that belongs to another ( Read more... )

Woohoo! It's rescue season again-- I'm so happy! Seriously, the winter is so long and dreary and there is just nothing cuter and more rewarding than taking care of orphaned wildlife. It's a catch 22 of course-- I want them to be safe overall but if they all made it, I'd have no volunteer job, right? Weird;-)
