I do believe that we have enough to worry about with regard to ourselves that we shouldn't spend our energy judging/focusing/envying others. We don't have that kind of time. I also believe that we empower ourselves by looking inwards. We can change what we do or how we feel. Rarely do we have that kind of control over others (even though we might like to think so); therefore, our energy becomes wasted on things we cannot change.
