People in the South know how to party. The last few nights have been crazy. New Orleans is crackin... I only wish some more of my friends were here to share this with me!

At lunch today I realized that reading this book while eating was a really bad idea. In fact, reading this may just be a bad idea for me altogether.

After looking on craigslist.org for employment and an apartment search, I feel like I am never going to be able to afford living in the east bay area. But I know plenty of people who do it. It is a really terrible thing that I have found myself once again in the position of not knowing what to say to someone who has just suffered a very painful and very unexpected loss. There is nothing I can ever say or do to make things better because I cannot bring anyone back. It's just incredibly sad and unfortunate.

Still sick. But I did manage to buy my one-way plane ticket to New Orleans for next month. Vacation sounds nice.

I am sick of being sick. Last night I was only able to drink half of my rum and coke and I was home in bed by 12:30. Tonight I am way too tired to even attempt going out. I am full of snot and my sinuses sting like crazy. This is turning out to be a total waste of a weekend ( Read more... )
