So now you are all stuck with me again. Muaha!!

And I'm going to gripe about the lack of music on morning radio. Talking is the last thing I want to hear on my way to work ;(

I want coffee and music dammit! Am I alone in this? *grumble*

92.9 dave.fm :p they specifically canceled their morning show to play more music.

Beat me to it. Zak and Jane weren't worth listening to anyway. All they talked about were all of the places they lived before coming to Atlanta to do radio.

Not to mention Zak did *NOT* have a voice for radio. I was so happy when they put Orff back in the morning but they were so focused on "music in the morning" I don't think they let him say much of anything. Now there seems to be a woman doing the small "that was so-and-so with .." stuff.

Honestly I wish they'd keep Orff and let him and Denzel play off one another like they did when the station first started up. But then, "music matters" kind of went the way of the dodo when they take up all of Sunday and parts of Saturday and Monday with Atlanta Falcons crap. :(

Honestly I used to ONLY listen to 92.9 but now I bounce around a little because of those gripes. (Also you used to be able to win local concert tickets (small ones, mind) on their website but now you can only play against other people on their network of channels for weird random stuff.)

Your thoughts seem to mirror my own. I kinda miss Firfer (sp?) with Orff and Denzel. And if I want to keep up with the Falcons, I'll watch 'em on tv. I don't want my sports fix from a radio format.

Sirius is the only way to go. Commercial Free Music channels, love mine, and traffic updates are avail like every 8 mins I think, we have to share a traffic channel with miami and orlando.

yeah i was going to say 92.9 as well, coupled with 97.1 :)
