I liked this. There are some really lovely moments/images here (see below). To be honest I did find Icarus to be a bit more effective for me personally, perhaps because this one has more of a mix of straightforward narrative and poetic images, while that one worked almost entirely on metaphors and impressions (if that makes sense). But really, I liked both of them!
They race each other down the steps of the tower, tumbling and tangling at the bottom, a heap of legs and skin and half-dreaming bone on the harsh stone floor
