I think I know why I've been in a funk this morning. It wasn't the bad dream because I woke up and knew that it was a dream, and a stupid one at that. I think it's because when I woke up this morning I wrote the final scene where Althea dies. I'm not happy with it; it needs a LOT of tweaking. But it's final, and kinda sad. Which I guess is good because he really does need his motivations explained, and it would probably show the place Althea has in the palace, but yes, Eiridin wants his own chapter, but my linear muse won't let him talk, and I'm worried that he is going to get discouraged and go away. Long time no update. Mainly cause revising eats my ass and I just don't have the time for it right now. But yesterday we had a really neat surprise midterm in Fantasy Writing. We had to look at a picture and listen to some music and free write for 20 minutes. Here's what I came up with. It's kinda eerie, but then, so is the picture.
