Since the gold standard got dropped, money has value only because we can pay taxes with it. But we only owe taxes because we earn money (income tax at least -- I guess there's more taxes than that, but stick with me). It worries me that I'm seriously considering picking a presidential candidate based on who I like to listen to more on the radio.
