I have a problem. I think I may be a hipster. I cannot for the life of me see mainstream movies when they're out. I also started reading HP and saw the movies way late. Hahaha, but thanks for the review...I'll check it out when it's on vid...I mean, DVD, haha! ;)

You are right about the score. Several times I remember thinking that it would have been really nice to have some music even if it were instrumental. I have read the entire budget went to her dress so it will be interesting to see how the next movie will go because I would imagine the budget will be a lot more and will hopefully translate better on screen.
Personally I am a fan of Peeta and I was disappointed with their portrayal of him. I felt like they made him look weak and I did not feel that way about him when I read the books. He might not have been the manly man like Gale but he was not a push over either.

In the movie I really didn't feel a whole lost of connection between Katniss and Peeta and oddly enough felt like she had much better chemistry with Gale in the short time he was on screen. I couldn't believe that I was actually switching sides based on the movie.
