Time to be productive. I think I'm going to go buy a pot and some dirt to replant my corn plant before it completely dies.

I like translating my favorite songs into English. This one, "Encontros e Despedidas" translates to "Arrivals and Departures," or, "Meetings and Farewells," using the train station as a metaphor for life. "O trem que chega é o mesmo trem da partida." The train that arrives is the same train that departs.

When I was 17 years old and applying to colleges, I only applied to one university in Michigan...the University of Michigan. It was my safety school, and I ultimately only decided to go there because I would be in the Honors College and I got a scholarship. I mean, I was young and 17.
