Nick and i are getting a dog.

She is a gorgeous 5 year old german shepherd called Jodie. Has been really well trained and has very cute floppy ears. Should be picking her up to live with us on 31st january. How exciting. Really did not think that now would be the perfect time to get a dog but never mind. Stranger things have happened.

German shepherds are definitely one of the few types of dogs I would get. Prefer cats, but german shepherds still rock, I would train mine to go for the balls at command and 'gently squeeze' them until the guy is down on the floor.

How come you're getting a dog now? Sounds like it wasn't planned.

I have a workmate called Jody, how bizarre. He doesn't have floppy ears though.

She wasn't planned exactly. We gave our name to the dog warden ages ago, before we were pregnant, and this is just the first time they have called. They only call if they have the perfect dog for the owner.

I don't like cats! What's the point in having a cat?

I can just picture a guy with floppy ears. Does make me chuckle./ But not too much. Baby keeps kicking my bladder. Do't want a little leaky-poo now do we!
