Yesterday I had to report for jury duty - which I have never done. By the time they try to summon me for one I was usually out of state or moving out of state. Until this time. I arrived yesterday morning in the wee hours at 5am. But there's a story to that I will get into later. The last leg of my San Francisco trip took me to Union Square for a trolley ride to Chinatown. It's been a few days since I've arrived in SF. Most I have been running errands - the main reason for me being up here in the Bay Area. I stayed at onsen hotels nearly all of my trip in Japan. I was too tired to try onsen the first night since it was quite hectic traveling via bus and plane. And also, once I got over the fact that you have to be buck naked in front of other people to get into the hot springs, it was all good. Got back from Narita Airport. Boy it was quite a trip. I think I filled up all of my 256mb flash card.

Just to sum things up, went to Osaka, then the 2005 Aichi Expo around Nagoya, and Tokyo. I think I got enough loot to fill my bags to the brim! The geek in me bought a yukata so I can look dorky around the house (where else can I wear it ( Read more... )
