So, you can save a bit of cash by switching off from CT Light & Power. A few years ago, I had a different supplier, then they disappeared and it seemed like there wasn't a lot of competition. My 401k is already up 17.5% this year - LOL. Too bad I didn't have more money in there, but still. My secret? Uber-high risk funds - emerging markets - international (77%) and American (23%).

Now I gotta roll it over into an IRA, so I hope I can find some funds that are at least that good.

Paid off my car this month. Just replaced the axles, which had been going for awhile (took 2 weeks and some wrong parts shipped to get that done). Pulling out of the driveway after fixing the axles, I blow the retaining ring on the power steering pump off, randomly. OK. It would't reseal. Put a new pump in. Backed up out of the driveway. Bam...
